The ZTE company is entering the market of smartphones armored with its new model G601U. The phone has just passed certification tests in the Chinese Certification Body TENAA, therefore, it should soon hit the market there. Everything indicates that it will be a typical representative of its kind.
The average rugged smartphone has a solid, but pretty average housing, not very high specification. The same is also in the case of ZTE G601U. The housing looks decent, the phone will probably meet the IP67 standard, although this has not been mentioned yet. In the middle there will be a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, supported by a gigabyte of RAM. A 4-inch TFT display has a resolution of 480x800 pixels, the phone module supports band GSM 900/1800, it also provides HSPA. On board there will be a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, VGA webcam, modules Wi -Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and a battery with a 2500 mAh capacity. The smartphone has dimensions of 127.4 x66x12 mm and weighs 156 g. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Unfortunately, today we do not know the price or distribution plans outside of China.
