Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo, that came to our catalogue about a week ago, has finally its official press release. Without any fanfare Samsung has announced that the device goes on sale - for about 260 euro.
The phone is not the cheapest and does not have breathtaking specification. If operators do not "take care" of it, the phone rather won't be a hit. Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 800x480 pixels, which gives not very impressive density of 187 ppi. The heart of the smartphone is - based on the Cortex - A7 - quad-core 1.2 GHz processor, supported by 1 GB of RAM , controlled by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The smartphone also has a 5-megapixel camera, a battery with a 2100 mAh capacity and 8 GB of internal memory expandable with a microSD card.
I strain my mind - and I do not know who is dedicated this model to. The price makes it fall into the middle class, but the specification dangerously borders on the budget segment. If we necessarily decide on the Samsung phone, we have a huge selection of alternative models - better or cheaper. I do not like conspiracy theories, but in this case it is difficult to get away from them. Maybe a multitude of models, prices, items of equipment are to make us not able to choose the right offer and while making the decision to purchase, thought as the manufacturer wants? After all, the offers from operators have a reason to be complex and similar to each other...
