The Chinese are slowly beginning to excel in the field of the slimmest phones. Vivo tempts buyers with the model X3 with a thickness of 5.75 mm, Gionee company responds with another (after Elife E7) phone Elife S5.5. It is proud enough of its thickness that it places it in the name.
The novelty from Gionee looks very chic. The unique slenderness of the housing is stressed with gold inserts on the sides and combined them white front and back panels. The rear panel is adorned with a 13-megapixel camera lens, while the front is dominated by a 5-inch display with a resolution unknown at the moment - probably 720p. Above the display there is a 5-megapixel webcam for video calling. Inside the sleek body there is working a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor (probably MediaTEK), supported by 2 GB of RAM. The smartphone will be available in two versions - 3G (now available in pre-sale for $ 370) and in the LTE variant, which will debut in June. All versions of Gionee Elif S5.5 will be equipped with the operating system Amigo, based on Android.
