On the eve of MWC Samsung unveiled the second installment of its smart watch. Now the device will be offered in two versions: basic and Neo, which is slightly cheaper and simpler. The device is no longer called "Galaxy Gear", but simply "Gear". Why?
Galaxy brand is associated with devices operating under Android, and the new Gear uses Tizen. According to Samsung, the battery life of new models (300 mAh) is to reach three days, the case was quite heavily modified. A 2-megapixel camera was transferred to the body, just like a microphone that was once in the buckle.
Gear 2 is equipped with a 1.63-inch display (320x320) and a 1 GHz dual-core processor is supported by 512 MB of RAM. The watch also has 4 GB of internal memory, an infrared port, S-Voice, heart rate monitor and a waterproof case: IP67. The casing will be offered in at least four colours. Unfortunately, we do not know the prices yet, you have to wait also a little longer for the live images...
