That would explain the fact that during the conference on the main screen most of the time was shown the flagship - the HTC One.

One of Barcelona's launches was HTC Desire 610. A compact entertainment hub, this vibrant phone comes packed with a host of features for an incredible mobile audio and visual experience, including a stunning 4.7" screen, HTC BlinkFeed and HTC’s industry-leading sound property, HTC BoomSound.

- The HTC Desire 610 offers an outstanding combination of performance and entertainment - said Philip Blair, President, HTC EMEA. Desire 610 with Android has a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 8 GB of internal memory with the possibility to extend it up to 64 GB using microSD cards and only 1 GB of RAM. The device is compatible with LTE. With nanoSIM it works in networks GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, 3G/3.5G - WCDMA: 850/900/2100 MHz with HSPA+ up to 42 Mbps.

During the conference the manufacturer emphasized advanced photo and video editing, which the terminal performs with a camera with a resolution of 8 MP. The front camera is only 1.3 MP. In addition to photos, the new smartphone lets you listen to music in a very good quality. Two stereo speakers support system HTC BoomSound. The phone plays and records most popular media formats. It is powered by a lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 2040 mAh. Another standard feature is the NFC technology. Of course, there are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. HTC Desire 610 will be available in Europe since May.

Another phone, HTC Desire 816. It was created based on the best business experience related to the One series. At the conference it was made clear that this model is a new stage in the HTC development, which is based on the creation of mid-range phones with the use of the most interesting technological innovations and based on solid and proven foundation.

The heart of the device is a 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The terminal operates in 2G/2.5G - GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, 3G/3.5G - WCDMA: 850/900/2100 MHz (B5/B8/B1) 4G - LTE: EMEA: 800/900/1800/2600 MHz (B20/B8/B3/B7) - of course with nanoSIM cards. A user has 8 GB of memory, expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card. There is not too much RAM - just 1.5 GB. System platform is of course the Android HTC Sense HTC BlinkFeed.

The phone has two cameras - a 5MP front-facing camera with BSI, f/2.8, 720p HD and a 13MP rear-facing camera, f/2.2 , BSI sensor, 1080p Full HD. There is Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, as well as Wi-Fi and NFC (optional). Mobile Streaming media allows DLNA technology. The terminal, like the model 610, plays the most popular multimedia formats. The sound coming from the two stereo speakers technology supports HTC BoomSound.

816 has a 5.5-inch HD720 display. It is equipped also with GPS+ GLONASS. Electronics feeds the lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh. The smartphone weighs 165 grams.

The new HTC Desire 816 will be available in China with HTC Sense 5.5 in March and will be upgraded to the latest version of HTC Sense with the OTA update after the global market launch, which will take place in April.
