The Chinese from Oppo has not once shown that they are able to design a very interesting phone. Recently on Weibo (the Chinese equivalent of Twitter) appeared in a photo taken apparently with another model Oppo, which is Find 7. There would be nothing surprising if it were not for its size...
The photo published on Weibo measures 8160x6120 pixels, indicating that it was taken with an almost 50 - megapixel camera. EXIF data say that the picture took the Oppo Find 7 camera . Indeed, these data can be manipulated fairly easily, but on the other hand - why would someone do this? Forgery sooner or later comes to light, and the publication of real photos may help to popularize the device even before its launch. Therefore, I would consider it rather as a controlled leak, having to call the media hype surrounding the device. After what I saw at this year's MWC, I am convinced that the Chinese are able to surprise the market with unusual solutions - and 50 - megapixel camera phone can be one of them...
The authenticity of the photo supports the fact that it was taken on February 23 in Barcelona - as indicated by the EXIF and details visible in the frame - street signs or characteristic cube on the sidewalk. By strange coincidence, at the time and place there was held MWC – it is therefore likely that an Oppo worker took the phone on a trip... The original photo you can see here.
