Slowly I come to the conclusion that a day without leaks about the new HTC is a day wasted. Today, another piece of information about M8, which is the successor of HTC One. We still do not have confirmation of the technical data, but we have more photos of this phone - and its cover. It promises to be interesting...
New pictures of the phone are published by TD Beta. Thanks to them we learn that the unibody enclosure, performed by CNC machines from a single piece of aluminum, will gain a new shape with less plastic inserts. You can see that now there is metal on the sides, and the only application with dark plastic this time appears on the top side. It will deftly mask the IR transmitter, previously hidden under the power button, which in One was far more visible, as the only dark element on clear plastic. The headphone connector drifted down, next to the microUSB slot. We also noted that the material covering the stereo speakers on the top and bottom edge of the front wall is now shining - it is possible that it will be covered in some paint... In the last two pictures we have a comparison of the new model with HTC One Max, which gives us an idea of the dimensions of M8.

In turn, @evleaks offers us today the photo of the cover dedicated to the successor of One. The cover is made from plastic in at least three different colours. The front wall, hiding the display was given the opportunity to present notifications. Their appearance suggests that the cover won't have its own display, but through a perforated surface you will see an image of the display. This will be changed accordingly after the closing of the cover to give the impression shown in the picture.

There are only two weeks to the launch of the new model, so I'm sure it's not the end of unofficial information. I suspect that soon we will be able to give you full details of the new model - unless HTC - unlike most competitors - ensures secrecy and won't reveal their cards until 25 March in London. Of course, we will be at the launch, you can therefore expect that we will write about the new model just a moments after its official presentation.
