The Gionee company, which became famous recently for the slimmest smartphone in the world, presents another interesting design. The U2 smartphone enters the market under the sub-brand IUNI (which comes from the English I am unique) and catches attention with a bold styling and a good specification.

The housing of IUNI U2 was made from one piece of metal connected to alluminium. The whole structure resembles HTC structures, however, it has a slightly different styling. The housing will be available in several colours. The unibody enclosure is not the only feature connecting the new Gionee with HTC phones. In IUNI we have ultrapixels - that is something that is to provide better pictures in low light. Here, however, the magical pixels went to the front camera - and "sweetphotos" will no longer be the same again ;)

The rear camera has 16 "ordinary" megapixels and it is the same module, which we find in the model Gionee Elife E7. The specification complements Snapdragon 800 processor 2.2 GHz, 2 or 3 GB of RAM. The U2 smartphone display measures 4.7 inches and has a FullHD resolution, while the built-in memory will be offered in 16 or 32 GB option. The model with 2/16 GB memory costs $ 290, while the variant with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM is expected to cost $ 320.
