As previously announced, the company officially unveiled the smartphone Oppo Find 7. It's the world's first phone taking pictures with a resolution of 50 megapixels.
Unfortunately, at the outset I resolve any doubts. 50 megapixels is only a software trick, because the phone has only a 13 MP matrix - specifically, Sony IMX214. So, what's the matter? Pure Image 2.0 software has the ability to connect 10 shots in one frame, so either we have a huge image, or the possibility of lossless cropping the selected fragment from it. In addition to a megapixel trick – the camera can also record videos at a 4K resolution, it seems that everything will be in good quality. The lens has a brightness of f/2.0, and in addition it is accompanied by a dual LED flash.
The rest of the specification also makes a positive impression. The 5.5-inch display has a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels, which gives a ratio of the density of 538 ppi. The heart of the machine is a quad-core Snapdragon 801 paired with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 330 graphics. The memory for the user (and the system) is 32 GB, but you can expand it with a 128 GB card. All supplies the battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh with the option of fast charging - up to 70 % in a half an hour. Interestingly, Oppo Find 7 enters the market with Android 4.3...
Oppo presents with the new model Find 7 the cheaper variety Find 7a. Here you can count on the 5.5-inch FullHD display (403 ppi), Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and a 2800 mAh batter. Both smartphones have screens covered with Gorilla Glass.
Oppo Find 7a is expected to cost the equivalent of $ 485, while the price of the "main" Find 7 will be announced later.
