The Swiss company Tag Heuer is known primarily from the manufacture of watches, but it has also offered a few phones. The new models appear quite rarery, but once they see the light of day – it is a sight to behold. It is no different in the case of the last device of the company: Merediist Infinite.
Merediist Infinite provides several unusual solutions. The most important advantage of the phone is a built-in photovoltaic cell, or - to put it colloquially - solar battery. In this case, the Wysips technology provides the ability to supply this cell even with artificial light, so that - as provided by the manufacturer - the conventional phone battery is never depleted. Just a little bit of light is enough for it. Looking at the specifications of the device, the manufacturer's declarations look quite honestly, because the hardware does not seem to be energy-consuming. Merediist Infinite is technically a quite simple design. It has a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels, a 5 megapixel camera and support for two SIM cards. In addition, the device has an installed additional energy-saving OLED screen, which presents notifications. But this is not the last of the unusual features of this device. Another is its body - made from truly Swiss luxury. Both screens were covered with sapphire and the body is a combination of titanium and carbon fibers. There was added a bit of snake leather and surprisingly (as for this segment) a sleek styling. Tag Heuer Merediist Infinite will go on sale in June, for probably a quite high price. However, there will be only 1,911 owners of this device.
