LG will expand the portfolio of its G Pad tablets with three new models. G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1 will be officially presented at MedPI 2014 fair held in Monaco on 13-16 May.
G Pad 7.0 is the smallest model in the new family, designed for one-hand operation. According to the announcement of the manufacturer, it is to combine performance with mobility. The same qualities could be attributed to the new tablet from medium format. In the case of G Pad 8.0 the manufacturer stresses, however, a unique multimedia capabilities and the smooth operation of multi-threading. In turn, G Pad 10.1, featuring the biggest screen and the battery is to provide endless entertainment. The latest G Pad tablets will also include LG’s proprietary UX features such as QPair 2.0 and Knock Code. The first solution allows you to connect the tablet to the smartphone and read notifications from your phone to your tablet. The second option is a clever screen lock, ensuring data protection with a simple, but difficult to guess "knock" pattern: a sequence of taps in certain fields of the screen.
This is, unfortunately, everything we learned from today's official document of the manufacturer. We can only guess specifications of the new tablets, we do not even have meaningful images of new models. But remember that this is just the announcement for now - and we will see the devices in the coming days. I hope that after their presentation, however, LG will provide us technical data...
