HTC expands the family of One smartphone with a new model - E8. Although this is not mentioned anywhere in the press release, it is probably a previously announced as ACE a cheaper variant of the flagship One M8.
E8 with a distinctive, arched line of the rear panel is designed for users who value the style above all. The housing is monolithic, but this time it is made from plastic. Thus it can be offered in a wide range of colours. At the beginning there will be a selection of four colours: Polar White, Electric Crimson, Maldives Blue and Misty Gray.

The smartphone received a 5-inch FullHD, the manufacturer announces the introduction to the offer dedicated covers Dot View. One E8 powers a battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh, on board we find in addition 16 GB of ROM, 2 GB of RAM and a microSD card slot up to 128 GB. The smartphone appears (on selected markets) also in Dual-SIM variant.

Interestingly, there is mentioned also LTE support, which has not hosted before in the Dual-SIM. I assume, therefore, that LTE will only appear in single-SIM version - although the manufacturer is silent on the subject. The heart of the phone is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, which, depending on market will be clocked at 2.3 or 2.5 GHz. The device runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The HTC smartphone could not do without corporate solutions. We find in it not only the BoomSound stereo speakers, but also overlay Sense 6 with BlinkFeed and support for gestures Motion Launch. We will take photos with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The smartphone is to debut first in China and within a few weeks it should occur in other countries. The phone will be sold in its original packaging - with bright plastic cube designed by the stylist Yang Mingjie.
