Several days ago I wrote about returning of the Panasonic brand to the world of smartphones. We learned then that the Chinese probably acquired the rights to the brand and they're going to attack with it the market of India. In the previews we read about the device which is having a distinctive style...
Meanwhile, Panasonic T41 has been just lunched in India. Its specification - gently speaking – is much different from smartphones, which under the name of Panasonic are offered in Japan. The model for India is a typical budget Dual-SIM, with a quad core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and Android 4.4 KitKat. At the moment it does not look bad - but what about a 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of ROM only? Let us add, therefore, a 4.5-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 480x854 pixels and two cameras - 5 megapixel and VGA. The phone has of course also on board Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G modules, and draws power from the battery with a capacity of 1650 mAh. Nothing impressive, isn't it?
Do not get me wrong, I have nothing against a simple, inexpensive smartphones. But is it worth printing so familiar logo on a fairly ordinary, not to say a weak phone? Don't you think that's spoiling the image? Because I do!
