The Taiwanese company BenQ extends the portfolio of its smartphones with a new model: F5. The phone will debut soon in Taiwan, but its wider distribution cannot be ruled out. The Taiwan Mobile customers will be able to try it first.
BenQ F5 is typical average phone: it does not stand out with anything special, but on the other hand, there are no significant deficiencies in the equipment. It supports LTE, it also received the current version of Android - 4.4.2 KitKat. The phone closed in a streamlined housing with a thickness of 8.5 mm, has a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 processor. This system is supported by 1 GB of RAM. The phone will be offered in two versions: with 8 or 16 GB of built-in memory, in both versions with the option to expand via a microSD card. BenQ F5 is armed with a 13-megapixel camera with Sony Exmor BSI matrix and 2-megapixel front camera. All is powered with a battery with a capacity of 2520 mAh. The icing on the cake is the NFC service. In Taiwan the smartphone price will reach 7990 or 8490 local dollars.
