The Chinese company Xiaomi has unveiled a new version of the Redmi Note smartphone presented in March. The new model has gained support for LTE and a different processor, but the other pieces of the equipment remained virtually unchanged.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G looks identical to the prototype. It is equipped with a 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 CPU and 2 GB of RAM. In the 3G model there was used a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 CPU. The 3G version also supportes two SIM cards, while the LTE model will be produced only in a single-SIM version.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G has an 8 GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot that supports up to 64 GB. On board there is a 13-megapixel camera with lens f / 2.2 and LED flash, and at the back cover we can find a battery with a capacity of 3200 mAh. The display - similarly to the 3G version – is made with IPS technology, measures 5.5 inches and offers a resolution of 720p. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G uses Android 4.4.2 MIUI 5.0. Interestingly, the LTE model will be offered at the same price as Dual-SIM 3G version, after the conversion approx. $ 160.
