Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is not the only interesting phablet, which we will admire at the IFA. We know almost for sure that Huawei will present us its Mate 7, which next photos have just appeared on the network.
Photos actually do not bring anything new – we already know the appearance of Mate 7 from previous leaks. New materials are basically only a confirmation of earlier publications... In any case, however, I recall a known specification of the device. Ascend Mate 7 is to receive a 6-inch FullHD display and an octa-core Kirin 920 processor in the company of 2 GB of RAM. A built-in memory will have a capacity of 16 GB, and the battery - 4000 mAh. The smartphone will also receive a 13-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixel front camera, it will also have a biometric scanner on the rear metal casing. The price of the device is estimated to be approx. $ 815.

A slightly different news relates to the familiar model of Huawei - Ascend P7. The phone was caught cheating in 3DMark Benchmark. In fact, it is difficult to speak about a fraud – the phone had in measurements a good result, working at full capacity. The problem is that in normal use it is not working so hard. This model is meant to average at 1.3 GHz in CPU clock during normal usage, but in benchmarks it has been found to throttle it up to 1.8 GHz all the time. So - the result of the measurement is somewhat overstated. I am, however, far from criticizing the manufacturer's attempt to manipulate - after all they're showing a peak of the phone! I'd rather criticise the measurement method that allowed for maximum overclock of the system... After all the fact that the processor is not always running at full power, does not mean we cannot achieve more. After all, cars rarely use the full power of the engine and a top speed – and we do not criticise manufacturers for the fact that they publish and compare these parameters!
