We have just received an official announcement from Acer. During the IFA there will be the European launch of the new smartphone Liquid Jade and colour sport bands Liquid Leap.
Acer Liquid Jade and Liquid Leap, originally presented at Computex in Taipei in July this year, will debut at the IFA in Berlin. The first digital bracelet from Acer Liquid Leap and the thinnest smartphone from this brand, Liquid Jade, will be available in Europe from September 7th 2014. At the same time both devices will be presented at the Acer booth at the IFA 2014 in Berlin, Germany.

Liquid Jade is a stylish 5-inch smartphone with a thin and ergonomic design. It has a 7.5 mm thickness, weighs 110 g and is the thinnest smartphone from Acer. Liquid Jade emphasizes elegance gloss UV coating on the rear panel, which is characterized by high quality and functionality of use. Jade uses technology Zero Air Gap: Smooth Touch glass screen is directly attached to the LCD panel, which eliminates glare and increases contrast and brightness. Thanks to this Liquid Jade is a supplement to Liquid Leap during daily workouts in the fresh air. Liquid Jade is equipped with Android 4.4, a 5-inch HD screen that supports IPS technology, Gorilla Glass 3 and Zero Air Gap, and a 13-megapixel camera. The smartphone is powered with a 1.3 GHz quad-Core MT6582 processor and 1 GB of RAM. The phone has an integrated battery 2100 mAh and is also available in Dual-SIM.

The wristband Liquid Leap is located in one inch casing and is the smallest tactile touch device developed by Acer. The design of Liquid Leap is elegant and minimalist, and the device has no buttons. The 1-inch display is placed in a durable, rubber hypoallergenic bracelet with a width of 17 mm. Acer Liquid Leap wristband is ideal for active users who want or need to constantly be in touch with others. It can be used during training, to measure distance traveled and calories burned, or during naps. The music player allows you to remotely control the functions of "play", "pause", "previous track" and "next track". It is also waterproof (IPX7). Liquid Leap will be useful also at work: the standby time is up to 7 days. It is equipped with a function for notification of phone calls, text messages and email. What's more, it sends automatic reminders about meetings and events. It supports Bluetooth 4.0, so you can easily connect to Acer Liquid Jade. Liquid Leap occurs in a wide range of colours: Moonstone White, Mineral Black, Aquamarine Green, Fragrant Pink and Vivid Orange.
