Kazuo Hirai, President and CEO of Sony Corporation, during the press conference welcomed journalists with the announcement of many new devices. Sony's new philosophy summarizes the Japanese word "kando" which the president explains briefly as the English "wow".
Sony Xperia Z3 from that time is the official flagship of Sony. It has a 7.3 mm of thickness and 2-mm bezel around the screen. Its weight is 152 g. The device is also waterproof (IP65/68).

Kunimasa Suzuki, the head of the mobile division of Sony, announced at the press conference SmartBand Talk with the e-paper display and the record durable battery, and the SmartWatch 3. The latter supports voice commands, as well as allows you to listen to music at a distance. Both products should appear later this year.

Another announced devices are the models Z3 Compact and Z3 Tablet Compact. Z3 Compact is waterproof, weighs 129 g. It is to be available in four colours: white, black, orange and green.
Z3 Tablet Compact is - according to the manufacturer - the lightest and the thinnest (270 g, 6.4 mm). And - as well as other devices presented today - resistant to dust and water (IP65/68). It is also the first tablet, which can communicate with the console PS4. The display has 8 inches full HD, the processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5 GHz.
All equipment should be available in the autumn.
