Huawei Ascend P7 in sapphire edition, Ascend Mate 7 and Ascend G7 - these novelties showed Huawei at the IFA 2014 in Berlin.

The conference began with thunderous applause greeted Richard Yu, who briefly recapitulated the financial condition of Huawei. Fortunately, quite quickly emerged new products. Three presented smartphones are Huawei Ascend P7 in sapphire edition, Ascend Mate 7 and Ascend G7.

Ascend Mate 7 is probably the main Berlin launch of Huawei. This new flagship device with a large screen Huawei promoted with the slogan "Live Once, Live Life". It has a 6-inch display with a new generation matrix JDI IPS-NEO with a contrast 1500: 1. The entire back is metal, made of a single piece of aluminum. But it has the NFC antenna!

The edges of the casing are chamfered and polished to a high gloss. The display takes up 83% of the front panel. The polymer battery with a capacity of 4100 mAh is able to withstand at least two days on a single charge. The housing has a 7.9 mm thickness at its thinnest point.

The model will be sold in three colours: white, black and champagne gold.

For calling and texting there is running only one core A7, and thanks to this it managed to improve battery performance in extreme mode, saving battery power. 4G technology is based on the LTE Category 6, so you can communicate with almost all standards-properties around the world.

In total, the phone has three antennas - one along the long side, one along the bottom, and one along the top edge. It supports two cards: nano- and micro-SIM. Two drawers are located on the top of the left side edge of the housing.

The graphical interface is EMUI 3.0 GUI. With the motion sensor by moving the phone we can also move for example a numeric keypad. This allows you to operate the big screen with one hand.

The microphone is to collect sound from a distance of three meters, while unlocking the device is done using your fingerprint and works in any position (360 degrees), even when the finger is wet. The sensor used for this is a square of side 1.22 mm. It can recognize up to five fingerprints. With its help, you can also take pictures. Fingerprints are stored in the chipset memory in encrypted digital form, of course, not as graphics.

Ascend G7 "Your Life, Your Rules" has a metallic aluminum housing. It belongs to the class "afordable premium". Parameters? 7.6 mm thick, 2.85 mm frame of the screen, three different colours ("space gray ", "moonlight silver 'and' "horizon gold"), a 5.5-inch HD IPS display.

Users will also receive more than 30 themes to download online. LTE works in Category 4. The phone supports smart gestures - the letters for different functions. The camera has in turn a function to allow for the beautification of the face in the movies. It also supports re-focus.

Ascend P7 (Sapphire Edition) is an improved, slightly more elegant version of the basic model. The technical specification is no different from its predecessor, but the user will have the opportunity to pick up a smartphone with a ceramic back, metal frame and a sapphire crystal display.
