A few days ago I wrote about the fact that Microsoft is slowly moving away from use of the brand Windows Phone. The first device with a new sign is... a Far-Eastern smartphone sold in the UK as GoFone GF47W.
This smartphone is sold by the British company Mygo, but with almost 100 percent certainty we can assume that it's the model from one of the Chinese manufacturers, labeled with the British logo. Whatever the case, it is the first use of the brand Windows (already without the suffix "phone") on a smartphone with Windows Phone. On the technical side, the smartphone is not shocking. It has a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, a gigabyte of RAM and a 4.7-inch HD IPS display. And it received an 8-megapixel camera, a 2-megapixel front camera and GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 modules. The smartphone uses Windows Phone version 8.1.
