Lenovo without much fanfare introduces a new, large smartphone with LTE. In Lenovo A916 there is used an octa-core processor and a 5.5-inch screen, valuing all at less than $ 230.
The smartphone has a 1.4 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 CPU and support of 1 GB of RAM. The phone also has a built-in 8 GB memory, a slot for microSD card and support for Dual-SIM. When it comes to connectivity, in addition to Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0, we have - as I said - LTE Cat 4, with speeds up to 150 Mbps downstream and 50 Mbps when sending them. Lenovo A916 features a 13-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel front camera, and power supply, a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 2500 mAh. Measuring 5.5 inches display holds a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. For now, the smartphone will be available in China Unicom, but the introduction of its international version is not ruled out.
