In addition to the smartphone Desire Eye, which specification we know for several hours, the company also unveiled the camera REbyHTC and new software Zoe 1.0 - photo editing application, available on Google Play. REcamera, similarly as the new application Zoe are cross-platform - cooperate not only with smartphones on Android, but also with iPhone. Zoe not only allows you to edit and combine images in collages. It's sort of social network where users will present their photos and videos.

REcamera is the minimalist equipment to record an image. There is no display, there are not too many buttons – it is basically a combination of the lens with the shutter button in a housing in the shape of the letter J. The camera has a fixed focus lens with a field of view of 146 degrees and a matrix of 16 megapixels. The camera takes pictures and FullHD video 30 frames / s, or HD 120 frames / s, and costs $ 200.

The star of (late) evening, however, was the smartphone HTC Desire Eye. Among the dozens of mid-shelf competitors, this phone stands out with unusual photographic opportunities. Both at the front and at the rear there is mounted an identical camera - with the 13-megapixel sensor, autofocus and dual, two-color LED flash. HTC Desire Eye will be at the same time a quite powerful hardware. It has the same processor as the flagship M8 - the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 paired with 2GB of RAM.

Instead of a beautiful metal housing it has a body made of plastic - but it is waterproof, IPX7. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6.0 overlay, and the housing will be offered in two colours. And although the price of the model has not been given yet, today I know that this is one of the most interesting launches of this year! Even the price amounting to 530euro won't change this...
