The latest Samsung phablet Galaxy Note 4 has just arrived to our office. In a few days I invite you to read the review of this model, but today – the first impressions.
This is not my first encounter with Galaxy Note 4... I saw this phone during a presentation at the IFA in Berlin, where it made a favorable impression on me. Today, when I hold it in my hands, I uphold my opinion. The new Note looks much better than its predecessors.

Finally, its casing contains a piece of metal, which gives the feeling that we are dealing with a higher-end hardware. However, there is a reference to its predecessor – imitation of leather on the back panel - unfortunately, still plastic. Note slimmed, lost a lot of bezel.

Ana a display? It impresses with a precisio ... but I notice that Samsung still stubbornly holds intensely saturated colours. Some people like it, others do not. Anyway - the screen has fabulous readability angles, good level of white and black, and also a great touch screen cooperating with a stylus, which seems to me a little less comfortable than its predecessor, although it is more round. Simply saying - it slimmed as well...

I could not resist myself verifying if between the phone display and the frame I can put a sheet of paper. Western media recently wrote about the "scandal", claiming that the new Samsung phablet is carelessly made. Either I had a thick paper sheet, or my copy is assembled better than those which found their way to the west. The paper does not go inside, the alleged gap is only an illusion, caused by the curved display glass.

By the way - I wonder its resistance to damage... I'll check it out! Unfortunately, this time I have to avoid water - Note is not waterproof, like its smaller brother Galaxy S5. But it is much larger and a bit more... edgy.

For now, I am upbeat. The smartphone quickly turned on and began to restore the backup of my previous devices of the same company. Now I will have to download the needed applications and use the phone. I'll tell you in a few days how it was to test it - in the review section.
