Philips introduces the mobile phone for seniors. Contrary to appearances, this niche market still exists and probably is a pretty good - at least in India, where the model X2566 debuts.
Philips X2566 is a typical representative of its class. It has a small display that shows large icons and clear text, and the classic keyboard with buttons of considerable size and markings. The phone supports two SIM cards, it also has an alarm SOS button and LED flashlight. On the list of equipment there are also a radio (operating without headphones as an antenna), VGA webcam and Bluetooth 2.1. The display measures 2.4 inches and has a resolution of 320x240 pixels, which is more than enough to handle a simple menu. There will also be an option of zooming on the screen with dedicated keys of "magnifying glass". One major advantage of the phone is its battery. The package with a capacity of 1630 mAh should provide up to 24 hours of talk time or 1,128 hours of standby. The price of the phone in India is - after converting $ 61.
