A new model of HTC, which is a reduced and cheaper variant of Desire 820 appeared in one of the largest Chinese online stores. HTC Desire 820 mini is about half an inch smaller and approx. $ 100 cheaper than the original.
HTC Desire 820 mini kept appearance of its older brother. Not knowing the dimensions of the case, it is difficult to distinguish between the two models. But the devil is in the details. HTC Desire 820 mini does not have a 64-bit processor, which place was taken by a proven, 32-bit Snapdragon 400. The screen shrank from 5.5 to 5 inches, but still has a HD resolution, so it can present itself more attractive than the original. HTC Desire 820 mini supports LTE, has a 5-megapixel front camera and 8-megapixel main camera, a gigabyte of RAM and 8 GB of data with the expandable microSD card. As for a model for the Chinese market, Desire 820 mini supports two SIM cards. Unfortunately, as of today we do not know anything about its plans for distribution outside of China.
