Yesterday we wrote about the first LG phone based on the author's Odin processor. Today we know that the equipment will hit the market as LG G3 Screen, and the processor will be called Nuclun.
Previously the smartphone was determined as F490L Liger - and just under that name we learned first details of its specification. Now we have the official confirmation. LG G3 Screen - Liger - has many features in common with LG G3, including appearance. It is, however, slightly larger – it has a 5.9-inch FullHD screen, 32 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and 2 GB of RAM. The phone also received a 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and a laser autofocus, a 2.1-megapixel front webcam and a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh. All managed by Android 4.4 KitKat with LG interface, already known from the G3.
The octa-core Nuclun chip is composed of four cores Cortex A15 1.5GHz and four cores Cortex A7 1.2 GHz, working in big.LITTLE technology. This means that the individual cores are activated as needed - eg. text messaging is accompanied only by one A7, and the games start, for example three A15. Unfortunately, it is not specified whether the work of all eight cores simultaneously is possible. In addition, the phone supports LTE-A Cat. 6, which can download data at speeds up to 225 Mb / s.
The smartphone will be offered exclusively in Korea, at the operator LG U +.
