The Chinese company Xiaomi didn't enjoy too long with the place on the podium of the largest manufacturers of smartphones in the world. When the Motorola acquisition by Lenovo has become a reality, both joined companies jumped to the third place.

While the first two places - Samsung and Apple - are not at risk, whereas the third position holder - if it doesn't win a crushing advantage over the fourth manufacturer - cannot feel confident. And that's what happened with Xiaomi... The company, which sold 17.3 million mobile has lost with combined forces of the companies. It is not known exactly how many phones Motorola sold, but the sales of Lenovo itself is enough to talk about changing the podium. This sale is a little lower than the result of Xiaomi and amounts to 16.9 million units. There's no need to be a soothsayer to know that Motorola will sell more than 400 thousand devices. Rick Osterloh, the head of Motorola Mobility did not fail to mention the whole thing on Twitter.
