Russian-Swiss company Gresso has unveiled a new model for a wealthy clientele. Gresso Regal R1 is the average smartphone equipped with an outstanding housing.
Unfortunately, as it is usually in case of a luxury phone, we are dealing with a fairly ordinary interior clad in a casing made of sophisticated materials. And while the styling and luxurious sheath play first fiddle here, in my opinion, this phone lacks a bit more modern components. Apparently, potential buyers do not pay attention to the timeliness of the operating system or the processor performance... In their sphere of interest though is the fact that R1 Regal housing is made of a single piece of hand-machined titanium and the display is protected with Gorilla Glass. An attractive supplement is also undoubtedly a sense of uniqueness - the phone will be built in quantities of 999 pieces, and each will bear a unique number engraved on the casing.

The phone's screen looks inviting: a 5-inch FullHD display. 32 GB of ROM and 2GB of RAM, also looks good, but the processor - it's a standard, quad-core unit clocked at 1.5 GHz. The manufacturer does not specify the processor type or the brand, but I dare to suspect that the heart of Regal R1 is supplied by MediaTek. The camera has a 13-megapixel sensor, while the front camera has 5 megapixels. A big surprise is that the phone is running Android 4.2.1 Jellybean, and the manufacturer does not announce its update. For everything you need to pay $ 3,000. The uniqueness costs...
