BenQ has expanded its portfolio of smartphones with another model. BenQ B50 goes on sale in China and Taiwan, and its most important feature is the Q Home interface developed by BenQ, working on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
At first glance, the Q Home interface is not significantly different from the standard Android overlay, but there has been modified several elements, such as the notifications and control panel. The manufacturer also adds several business applications, such as QMoney expense management, photo gallery PiQture or Qiss Day - the organizer. The smartphone itself got a slim housing, which however doesn't stand out from the crowd and it is made of plastic. BenQ B50 heart is a 1.5 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6732 processor, supported by a gigabyte of RAM. The phone has only 8 GB (which is actually approx. 5-6 GB) of internal memory, but of course it can also take in its socket a microSD card up to 32 GB. On board we also have an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, as well as a modest, two-megapixel front webcam. BenQ B50 supports LTE connectivity, it also has, of course, modules Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The smartphone draws power from the battery with a capacity of 2200 mAh, and the the Q Home interface is shown in the 5-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It received a special glass screen to protect eyes of users staring at it excessively. The dimensions of the phone are 143x72x8,9 mm, and weight - 155 g. In Taiwan, it will cost the equivalent of $ 160.
