During the upcoming MWC fair, LG will showcase four new smartphones. Unfortunately, in Barcelona, we will not see the new flagship, there will be announced instead of this new budget models destined for sale on the so-called emerging markets.
LG Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy are a harbinger of changes in the company's line of cheap smartphones. The phones will get the styling reminiscent of the more expensive LG models, they will also - despite the low price - support LTE connectivity. The phones (depending on the market) will also be offered in the 3G version. Different models depending on the selected options vary with the finish of the back cover: metallic in the models with LTE and with texture in 3G models.
The smartphones will also have the interface elements familiar with the higher positioned models. Among them it is worth highlighting Gesture Shot which makes it easy to take great selfies with a simple hand gesture that starts a three-second countdown. Another interesting option is Glance View which lets users quickly access key information such as time, recent messages or missed calls with a simple downward swipe of the screen, even while the display is off. In addition, the models Magna and Spirit have In-cell Touch display, which offer improved sensitivity with faster touch recognition. The screen is thinner and lighter than conventional. These displays have gently curved design and are distinguished by a subtle 3000mm radius curve for a sleeker, more attractive profile.

LG Magna has a size of 5 inches, and its HD display boasts 294 ppi density factor. The smartphone is equipped with a quad-core processor clocked up to 1.3 GHz, assisted gigabyte of RAM. On board you will find an 8-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, and 8 GB of internal memory. The phone has dimensions 139,7x69,9x10,2 mm and draws power from the battery with a capacity of 2540 mAh. LG Spirit is positioned slightly lower. It has the same CPU and memory as Magna, but weaker photographic opportunities: the main camera is 5 megapixels, while the front camera - only one megapixel. This model is also smaller - it has 4.7-inch HD display (312 ppi) and a battery with a capacity of 2100 mAh, and the dimensions of the enclosure are 133,3x66,1x9,9 mm. Both smartphones use Android Lollipop.

LG Leon is a compact design, with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a density of 220 ppi and a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. The phone has only 512 MB of RAM and an equally modest built-in memory - 4 GB. It has a battery with a capacity of 1900 mAh, and photos takes a 5-megapixel rear camera and a front VGA webcam. The dimensions of this model are 122,7x64x11,9 mm. The smartphone received Android 4.4 Kit Kat. LG Joy has exactly the same specifications, but it is even smaller - 4-inch. Here the screen has a WVGA resolution and 233 ppi density. Interestingly, the press material of the manufacturer suggests that, despite the smaller screen, the LG Joy housing has the same dimensions as the model Leon... Although the picture clearly shows the difference in size of the two models.
