Apple Watch officially unveiled. There are also new Macs...

One of the highlights of the Monday conference was the presentation of Apple Watch prices. They start at $ 350 for a 38 mm model in Sport edition. The same model in the size of 42 mm now costs $ 400. For a model with a steel bracelet you have to pay a $ 550-1100, and a gold variety costs crazy 10-17 thousand dollars.

The watch has extensive customization options, it is waterproof, and has a heart rate monitor and an interesting, wireless charger. There is an original interface and the possibility of direct communication between watches - for example, to send graphics. Sapphire coated glass screen reacts to the strength of touch and the menu navigation facilitates the scroll wheel. The screen resolution depending on the size of the watch is 340x272 or 390x312 pixels.

The watch gives you access to the contents of the iPhone: it displays notifications, messages, maps, photos... counts steps, allows you to control your music - but amazingly can also act as a normal timer, a stopwatch, a time switch, etc. Of course it allows you to talk without taking your phone out of your pocket, as well as the exchange of data between watches - you can send a graphic drawn on the screen with your finger or a heartbeat.

Apple allows independent developers to create applications for the watch. There is already an application for managing the BMW cars, in one of the chain hotels in the US the watch can replace the key. We have a mobile payment service and compatibility with the Coca-Cola vending machines (in the US). There is an interesting Researcher Kit, which allows developers to create pro-health apps. The software is open source and can be used, among others for the doctor-patient communication.

Watch Apple also has a built-in walkie-talkies, and may also serve as an external monitor and trigger of the camera shutter to the iPhone. We also know how much the battery of the watch from Apple will withstand. Unfortunately, charging every night is a must.

The US company has also upgraded MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina screen. Computers received faster Intel processors - i5 and i7 fifth generation. Both have also faster Thunderbolt 2 ports, MacBook Air received also faster flash memory and graphics Intel HD Graphics 6000. Model Pro has a new touchpad. The most important new model of Mac, however, is known simply as "The new MacBook". It has a 12-inch screen with a resolution of 2304x1440 pixels, and it's thinner than the model Air - measuring 13.1 mm in thickness. The prices start from $ 1,299 for the model with the system 1.1 Ghz Core M processor, 256GB SSD and 8GB RAM, reaching in 1599 for a variant with a 1.2 Ghz processor and 512GB SSD. Interestingly, the computer will appear in three colour variations, including a gold one. Equally strange is equipping the computer only with one connector - Universal USB-C to everything.

I'll add that the price Apple TV was lowered. The gadget now costs only $ 69, which may herald a not very long launch of its new generation. Probably at the next Apple conference.
