During the upcoming CeBIT Samsung will present its new smartphone Galaxy Xcover 3. It will be a model of high-strength, meeting the requirements of the IP67 and MIL-STD 810G standards.
This means that the telephone will withstand a half-hour immersion in water at a depth of a meter, contact with fine dust, as well as a fall from a height of 1.2 m. In addition, it should work seamlessly in the cold and heat. Samsung has decided to apply the mechanical system keys and also added a separate start button for a flashlight or a camera. Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 supports LTE, it also has a compass, GPS, NFC and security application KNOX. The heart of the phone is a quad-core processor with a 1.2 GHz clock, aided by the 1.5 GB of RAM. The power supply provides a battery with a capacity of 2200 mAh, and there is a built-in 8 GB of memory and a microSD card slot. The phone received a 4.5-inch WVGA display and two cameras: 5- and 2-megapixel. Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 will debut with Android 4.4 KitKat on board, but it should soon receive an update to Lollipop.
