Although HTC One M9 has already hit European shops, the Taiwanese company decided to get rid of the components from the previous flagship and releases its modernized version with a slightly reduced price. Here comes HTC One M8s...
If the phone, which you can see in the picture, seems to you the same as a standard M8 - you're right. It's not an illusion, M8s looks exactly the same. Hence my theory that HTC just produced too many cases for M8 and now is looking for a way how to sell them, despite the introduction of the new flagship. But joking aside, let's look at the specifications. In most it's similar to M8 - but there are important differences. One M8s has a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor, the same as Desire 820. The battery has also been increased – now there is 2840 mAh as in M9. There is also an improved camera, replacing ultrapixels with ordinary ones, but in the amount of 13 million. The phone right from the start has Android 5.0, but with Sense 6.0. The new model will be available in the same colour varieties as its predecessor, namely silver, gold and gunmetal grey. M8s is with a fraction of a millimeter thicker than the classic M8 and has 16 GB of memory and a microSD slot. Its price will be approx. $ 565. What do you think - will it sell?
