It seems that Samsung will soon offer us a premium smartwatch. According to reports, the company is currently working on a model Orbis with a round display and a more luxurious finish.
According to Sammobile, Samsung Orbis will hit the market as Gear A. This is possible, because the designation fits in names used recently by Samsung. Unfortunately, the device itself is yet little known. It is only certain that Gear A will be the first Samsung watch with a round shield and envelope made of more sophisticated materials. The body of the watch is to be metal and straps - perhaps will be also available in versions made from leather. Importantly, Gear A will have fairly broad possibilities - not only it will be equipped with a Bluetooth module that connects it with the phone, but also in Wi-Fi and 3G, providing independent, direct access to the network. Samsung Gear A will be offered in two versions: SM-R720 (Wi-Fi) and SM-R730 (with Wi-Fi and 3G). There are signs that the watch (because of the advanced capabilities) will operate under the control of Tizen. Unfortunately, there are also many indications that this will be clearly more expensive equipment from the previous Samsung models. We assume here that the Koreans excel in shelf on which Apple is trying to settle down... Who will win? Although I personally prefer watches with a rectangular screen, this time I put on Samsung – it will probably be cheaper than Apple Watch and more accessible.
