LeTV company, leading the Chinese equivalent of YouTube enters on the smartphone market. The debut of the three models was preceded by a series of marketing mishaps, the loudest of which was to compare Apple to Hitler in one of the ads. We, however, do not assess how companies emerge in the public's mind – we focus on mobiles. And these are quite interesting...
LeTV will enter the market with three models. The cheapest will be LeTV One, featuring a 5.5-inch full HD screen, 3 GB of RAM and a 2,2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 CPU. The smartphone will also receive a 13-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and an optical stabilization and a 5 megapixel front camera. Power will provide a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh, while the price of the device is expected to be $ 240.

A medium model will be LeTV One Pro, with a 5.5-inch qHD display. In this model there will be used an octa-core Snapdragon 810 system supported by 4 GB of RAM. There will be also a 13-megapixel camera, but a front camera will be different - "four" in Ultrapixel technology. The smartphone will be available for $ 400 with 32GB or $ 435 with 64 GB internal flash media.

The top model is called LeTV Max and also uses the Snapdragon 810 and 4 GB of RAM. Here, however, we have a QHD screen with a diagonal of 6.33 inches, and the camera has a 21-megapixel Sony IMX230 sensor. The front camera - will be as in LeTV One Pro. In case of this model the price hasn't been specified yet, but it is disclosed that it has a fingerprint scanner on the rear wall.

The phones also have a number of characteristics in common. They are distinguished by metal casing and a narrow bezel around the screen. The styling of the devices is somewhat debatable – it is a sort of mix of iPhone 6 with HTC One. In other words, LeTV mobiles are simply nice and neatly done - or at least they look like. LeTV trio is also the world's first smartphones equipped with the new standard of USB port, or microUSB Type-C. It is also worth mentioning Lehi-Fi audio technology, reportedly providing excellent sound music on a phone.
Apart from the specific, almost helpless marketing - LeTV mobiles present themselves at least encouraging. They offer decent specs for a reasonable price. It remains only to convince to them potential buyers. And that can be difficult - especially on the US market, which the Chinese company is trying to conquer.
