The launch of ZTE Nubia Z9 is expected on May 6. It is not surprising therefore that mobile data appeared already in the database of the Chinese certifier TENAA. Some information is surprising.
From the information of TENAA results that the smartphone receives a housing with a thickness of 8.9 mm, and its weight will be 180 g. TENAA says that the phone will have a display with an unusual diagonal of 5.15 inches - and a FullHD resolution. A strange diagonal probably stems from the fact that there is used a very narrow bezels, as confirmed by the attached photo. The smartphone will have an 8-megapixel camera with a dedicated button and a similar, 8-megapixel front camera, it will also handle two SIM cards and GSM, CDMA, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, LTE FDD and WCDMA. All will manage Android 5.0 with a proprietary interface and the power provides a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh. It promises to be decent, right?
It gets even more interesting... Z9 is to receive a 3.5 GHz octa-core processor, as well as... 8 GB of memory! If this is confirmed, we will deal with a real monster. But I am afraid that this is a mistake of an editor at TENAA, just like in the case of a camera. An 8 megapixels camera in SUCH A phone?!
At this point, we can assume that the device will appear in several versions – and we look at the best one. We can assume that there will be offered a cheaper variety, with lower clocked CPU and less RAM, but there is no information about it. The device will probably be criticized for low internal memory. The phone has 32 GB of built-in memory without the possibility of expansion with a card. But here, we can assume that this is only one of the varieties that will be offered. I'll have 128 GB... Everything will be known next week :)
