ZTE unveiled in Beijing its flagship smartphone Nubia Z9. The phone - in line with previous leaks - is impressive. It has a decent specification, and this looks very attractive. The phone has an eye-catching rounded display, devoid of the side bezels.

The display of Nubia Z9 is the most eye-catching feature of the new model. It measures 5.2 inches and has a resolution FullHD, which in itself is not impressive. Most impressive is a curved screen, filling the entire width of the device. The screen is flat, but the glass edges are rounded, which gives us the impression of curvature. A special polarizing aRC layer makes the screen image completely masks the physical frame of the display panel, measuring 0.8 mm.

Moreover, there was applied FiT solution here - Frame Interaction Technology. Thanks to it, some of the phone's functions can be controlled by touching the rounded edges of the display. We can now, for example wake up the screen, or take a screenshot. It looks really interesting. The rest of the housing - a metal frame and a smooth rear - also can be enjoyed - the more that the housing will be available not only in black but also white and gold.

The rest of the specifications also does not raise any objections. We have an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (1.5/2 GHz) processor paired with 3 or 4 GB of RAM and Adreno 430 graphics. Additionally in Z9 we can find support for two SIM cards (nano-size), LTE, GPS, MHL, Bluetooth 4.1 and dual-band Wi-Fi - 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac 2.4 and 5 GHz. The phone will be available with 32 or 64 GB memory, but unfortunately it will not have a microSD slot - but in one of the options appears a biometric scanner. On board we will also find two cameras - both based on Sony modules. Basic, rear - is a 16-megapixel IMX234 with f/2.0 aperture, 6P optical lens, 1/2.6-inch CMOS sensor, while the front is a Sony IMX179 80-degree wide-angle 8-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture.

The sound quality assures AK4961 ystem helped with a proprietary technology NeoSound 4.0. The power supply provides a battery with a capacity of 2900 mAh - relatively small, but apparently a greater would not fit under the construction with dimensions of 147.7 x 68.3 x 8.9 mm. The phone weighs 192 g and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with the Nubia UI 3.0 interface. The device will be offered in several varieties.

The basic version, Classic, with 3 GB of RAM memory and 32 GB Flashrom was valued at 3,500 yuan, which gives approx. $ 565. The Elite model has a memory of 4/64 GB and costs 4 thousand yuan, or 645 USD, while if it has a fingerprint scanner (Exclusive), the price will jump to 4,500 yuan - $ 725. Unfortunately, we do not know distribution plans of this model outside of China. Its world debut, however, seems to be obvious - thanks to Nubia Z9 ZTE would start to exist on the market of top flagships - and immediately with a great echo.
