On the network appeared the first release render depicting another Samsung tablet - Galaxy Tab S2. It is not yet known too much about the device itself, but we can see that the manufacturer decided on a significant change in a design, referring to the style of its recent smartphones.
The new model will receive a metal frame and - although the image does not reveal it - probably a smooth, glass back, similar to that used in Galaxy S6. It will be very slender – the housing dimensions amount to supposedly 237,17x169,58x5,5 mm. Unfortunately, @OnLeaks, who shares with us the leak is not entirely sure of the thickness of the device - beyond 5.5 mm he gives also 5.8-5.9 mm. Therefore the tablet may also have a protruding lens of the rear camera, as already mentioned Galaxy S6. However, based on pictures we do not get to know the specification of the tablet, we know, however, that the "Home" button along with other controls based on sensors, will go on shorter side of the unit - therefore it seems that the natural working position for Galaxy Tab S2 will be a vertical orientation. On the opposite side of the tablet we can see the front camera and the light sensor, there is also - as I suspect - a speaker for phone calls. On the right side we see SIM card and microSD slots, as well as switch and volume control buttons. There is no USB port on the other hand, it must therefore be assumed that it will go also on the shorter side of the device - that is, at the bottom side. The equipment will have a screen size of 9.7 inches and the resolution should not be less than 2080 x 1536 pixels. Samsung will apply probably a SuperAMOLED matrix, we can also assume that the tablet will be available in a Wi-Fi + LTE and Wi-Fi variants. The launch should take place soon, it is indicated by the quality of the picture presented today. It gives the impression of the official material of the manufacturer - and they usually are prepared shortly before the official presentation of the equipment.
