The Japanese Au KDDI network presented its summer collection of smartphones. Besides well-known Galaxy S6 Edge and Xperia Z4 and HTC J Butterfly described by us yesterday, there are still some interesting models that I would like to show you.
Sharp Aquos Serie SHV32 makes the biggest impression. The phone has extremely narrow bezels around the display. They are so small, that the front camera had to go… below the display. The phone has a 5-inch IGZO HD display, battery with 2600mAh capacity and 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Its heart is Snapdragon 400 1.2GHz. LG Isai ViVid LGV32 is equally neat. It is slightly larger, it has a 5.5-inch QHD display with a less effective bezel, but it received characteristic buttons on the back wall. We can find here 3/32Gb memory, two cameras and VoLTE and WiMAX 2+ usage as well. Isai ViVid has a 16-megapixel camera with a laser autofocus.
Kyocera Torque G02 is even more interesting. This is an extreme smartphone: as a first in the world it is completely waterproof and can win a fight with salty sea water. In addition, its 13- and 5-megapixel cameras have a special underwater mode, activated automatically by a pressure sensor. The display is smaller – 4.7-inch HD – but we cannot criticize it in such a specific model. G02 uses quad-core Snapdragon 400 1.4GHz and it has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flashROM. Kyocera delivers to KDDI Urbano V02 model as well. It is closed in a nice housing finished with a brushed metal and equipped with a 5-inch HD display and a CPU identical as in Torque G02.
In the Japanese offer there must be a model with a flap. In the newest collection Sharp Aquos KSHF32 makes a debut, it is equipped with a 3.4-inch TFT display, Android 4.4 and a battery of 1410mAh capacity. What is interesting this model will support LTE and VoLTE connectivity as well. Its additional, front display integrated into a narrow stripe masking its presence serves as an ornament. KDDI launches a new tablet as well - Kyocera Qua tab 01. This is a device with an 8-inch 1920x1200 pixels display and a quad—core CPU supported with 2GB of RAM. The tablet offer from KDDI is complemented by a well-known Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet.
