Upleaks service specializing in leaks publishes information about the next Sony model, oriented towards selfie photos. The smartphone is part of the E55 series and is now hiding under the codename Lavender.

According to Upleaks, Sony Lavender will take selfie with a 13-megapixel camera based on IMX214 module and assisted with LED flash. The same camera is placed at the rear. The heart of the smartphone is to be an octa-core, 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, supported by a gigabyte of RAM. Lavender is to operate on Android 5.0, it will appear in DualSIM version. The screen of this model is to have a FullHD resolution, but the diagonal is not yet known. Certainly it exceeds 5.5 inches...

If information Upleaks is confirmed, Sony Lavender - despite the big screen - should remain a handy phone. The attached photo shows that the sides of the display will be frameless. The rest of the device should be simple and austere – the back resembles reportedly HTC E9+, but we can not yet verify this by viewing the image.
