Oppo officially unveiled the long-awaited smartphones R7 and R7 Plus. Information about both models announced in Beijing quite accurately correspond to earlier leaks - but there are also little surprises.
Both phones were maintained in a similar style. They have a unibody metal casing and 2.5D curved glass screens. Both will also have the option of quick VOOC charging, allowing to fill the battery from zero to 3/4 of capacity in half an hour. Already after 5 minutes of charging, the battery will allow up to two hours of talking... New smartphones are working under the control of ColorOS 2.1, based on Android 4.4. In both there will also be possible to use two SIM cards, the Dual-SIM will be here in exchangeable with a memory card. The buyer will be able to fill a dual SIM slot with two SIM cards or one SIM and a microSD card.

Oppo R7 has a 5-inch SuperAMOLED screen in Full HD resolution (441 ppi) and an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor 1.5+1 GHz (7c) or MediaTek MT6752 1.7GHz (in version R7t). The system is supported by 3 GB of RAM, and for the user there will remain the part of the built-in 16-gigabyte flash drive. The smartphone has the LTE module Cat. 4, GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. Oppo R7 has a 13-megapixel f/2.2 main camera with an RGBW sensor (Sony's IMX278) an 8-megapixel f/2.4 front camera. There is the battery with a capacity of 2320 mAh.

Oppo R7 Plus has the same Snapdragon 615 processor and communications modules and cameras, but it offers the user more storage: 32 GB. The model also uses a larger, six-inch screen - but still full HD resolution, resulting in a lower coefficient ppi - 367. Interestingly, in this model, the system keys went on the display surface, slightly reducing its active part. In the larger enclosure there could also be installed a bigger battery - 4100 mAh.
The phones were priced at 2,499 and 2,999 yuan, which gives the conversion of 400 or $ 480. We do not have information on the availability of the various versions of R7 in each country.
