It would seem that the traditional, simple mobiles are already gone... I do not remember the last time I wrote about some of this type of device - and here, Philips starts with the model Xenium E560. Its advantage - just like in the old days - will be a long battery life.
A few years ago, Philips phones - even though they were not very popular - were famous for providing extremely long battery operating time. Then came the era of smartphones and daily recharging has become the norm. Philips went against the tide and presented Xenium E560. It's a simple, small and inexpensive phone with little possibilities. It has a 2.4-inch IPS display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels, a 2-megapixel camera, an MP3 player and a microSD card socket for up to 32 GB. The housing 126,2x52x15,9 mm size also features Bluetooth with A2DP and two SIM card slots. The phone weighing 138.5 grams has also received a battery with a capacity of 3100 mAh... Many smartphones can envy such a capacity - and here we are talking about a simple mobile "for calling"! It is not surprising therefore, that the battery will allow Xenium to withstand 39 hours of talk time or 73 days on standby! Can you imagine a phone that is charged once a month? If you do not - you have to go to Russia because that's where this model will be offered. Its price - after conversion - is approx. $ 128.
