An affordable Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime lived to see the rejuvenation. The smartphone will receive the newer Android and a different processor - and it will enter the market as Galaxy Grand Prime Value Edition.
The model Galaxy Grand Prime Value Edition, bearing the designation SM-G531Y, is not much different from the original. It has a similar look and the same 5-inch display with a resolution of 540x960 pixels and an identical set of cameras: 8 megapixels at the back and 5 megapixels at the front. The phone also received an 8 GB internal memory, a microSD slot, 1 GB of RAM, as well as LTE and Bluetooth with NFC. It has the battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh. Unlike its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Value Edition will receive Android 5.0 Lollipop (instead of 4.4 KitKat) and a 64-bit Marvell PXA1908 processor instead of Snapdragon 410. Its price should remain unchanged, despite the considerable extension of the model name;)
