The ZTE company introduces on the US market two new budget smartphones. ZTE Sonata 2 will go to the Cricket Wireless network, while AT&T will sell the model Maven.
ZTE Sonata 2 is a model with a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (229 ppi). The phone uses a Snapdragon 200 processor, assisted by a gigabyte of RAM, working under the control of Android 4.4 KitKat. The internal memory has only 4 GB, but using a microSD card, it can be expanded by 32 GB. The smartphone also has a 5-megapixel camera and 2-megapixel front webcam, and the battery with a capacity of 1650 mAh. So simple design can't be expensive. The phone was valued at less than $ 30.
ZTE Maven will go to AT&T with the price of $ 60, but without signing a contract. In this model, we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with a gigabyte of RAM and the LTE module. ZTE Maven has a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and a density of 215 ppi. The internal memory is 8 GB and again you will need to use a microSD card. The rear camera also has 5 megapixels, but the front camera is weaker than in Sonata 2 - VGA. Interestingly, this model has a non-removable 2100 mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
At the moment there is no information about the availability of both models outside these networks. If they appear somewhere at all - almost certainly they will receive other names.
