Archos has expanded its offer with a new mid-range smartphone. The model Archos 50d Helium is typical phone of its kind: not distinguished by anything in particular, but not ruining the budget. Just an ordinary, correct design...
The phone has received a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a fresh version of Android - 5.1 Lollipop. It also has an LTE module and a respectable, 13-megapixel BSI camera. The front camera is also good, has 5 megapixels. Slightly weaker presents itself the rest: we have the popular quad-core Snapdragon 410 with a clock of 1.2 GHz and a gigabyte of RAM and Adreno 305 graphics.
The internal memory capacity is also not very impressive: it has only 8 GB, but they did not forget about the possibility of its expansion with a microSD card. Archos 50d Helium supports DualSIM mode, while LTE is only available for one of the cards. There are also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS modules, and power provides a battery with a capacity of 2100 mAh.
Dimensions of the housing are 146 x 72.2 x 8.4 mm and weight of the phone is 154 grams. Archos 50d Helium will go on sale later in July, and its price will be $ 130. The smartphone will be offered with two interchangeable panels of the housing: gray and blue.
