One of the Vietnamese websites published good quality photographs of the BlackBerry Venice smartphone. So... we already know how the first groundbreaking "BlackBerry" with Android looks like.
Admittedly, the smartphone is not bad. Despite using a slider mechanism, the casing is quite slim. It is worth noting how flat is the top part, where the display is mounted. Although the piece is flat, it was possible to fit in it also SIM card and memory slots. Both slots can be seen on the top side - they use tray loading mechanism, the needle is needed for opening. You might also look at the camera lens. The inscription on the ring surrounding it suggest that the camera has an 18-megapixel sensor, a fast autofocus and an optical image stabilization. Next to the lens we can easily see double, two-color LED flash. A characteristic mechanical keyboard looks comfortable, but we see a lot of wasted space in the vicinity of the lower row. It is possible that this space is to provide comfortable hold of the phone - but we will only be able to assess it while holding Venice in our hands. For now, the phone looks promising. It will be a nice change on the market...
