Philips unveiled in Russia a new smartphone Xenium V526. The phone supports two LTE standards (FDD and TDD), DualSIM mode, it also has an impressive battery capacity of 5000 mAh.
A long-life battery is the most important asset of this model. In conjunction with energy-saving solutions implemented in the device, the battery is able to provide up to 47 days standby time to 28 hours of talk time or 16 hours surfing the Internet. This is, of course, the manufacturer's data - but even after dividing the declaration of Philips' performance half, the phone capabilities are impressive. In addition, the phone has a quick charging mode. A half-hour recharging the battery is to ensure the working day.
It is worth noting that the use of a large battery didn't impact too much on housing dimensions of the smartphone. It measures 145x73,4x10 mm and the weight of the device is 189 grams. Philips Xenium V526 is not the master of lightness and slenderness, but for such a battery it is probably worth compromising... Besides the large battery, the present model has a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 1.3 GHz processor, assisted by a gigabyte of RAM. The display has a diagonal of 5 inches, HD resolution and it is made with IPS technology. The internal memory is unfortunately small – there is located 8 GB and a microSD card expansion is another 32 GB. Slightly better looking is a 13-megapixel camera, but a front camera is another compromise: only 2 megapixels. How much can cost an average phone with a powerful battery? In Russia, the price is less than 15 thousand rubles, which gives approx. $ 220.
