It is possible that early next year, Samsung will present us a smartphone with a foldable display. Provided of course that the rumours confirm...
We have been hearing about the foldable Samsung smartphone for a long time - but recently there have been new rumours. The prototype reportedly is hiding under the code name Project Valley. According to an anonymous but well-oriented in the concern issues source, cited by the service GforGames, a folded phone from Samsung is to be presented in January next year. It is very possible that we will see it at CES, MWC, or at a separate presentation, between these events.
According to the same source, Samsung is testing two versions of the mysterious device. The first has a Snapdragon 620 processor, and the second - Snapdragon 820. The Korean giant is quite heavily involved in testing the second of these units, it will also be the first manufacturer to receive specimens of the new Qualcomm processor. In addition to information on processors, it also mentions that Project Valley will receive 3 GB of RAM, a microSD card slot and a non-removable battery. Unfortunately, that's all for now, what we know. It promises to be interesting ... Let the rumours come true!
