Philips does not waste time - and introduces a new model. This time it is a mid-shelf S358 with a screen based on Miravision technology.
We could encounter Miravision solutions so far in TV sets, but thanks to Philips S358 it goes now to the world of smartphones - in a size of 5 inches and an HD resolution. Miravision is intended to provide a good level of detail, high contrast and faithful colour reproduction. It reflects only the fact that the screen has a moderate resolution and went to the phone that represents a segment of mid-shelf phones. But we will not discuss the politics of the manufacturer, as we can see there were the reasons for such a solution...
In addition to the improved screen, Philips S358 does not offer much. It has a quad-core processor with 1.3 GHz, a gigabyte of RAM and a battery with a capacity of 2300 mAh. The phone is equipped with two 8-megapixel OmniVision cameras and Android 5.1 with the company's graphic overlay. Everything was closed in a slim casing with a metal battery cover and priced at a reasonable $ 130.
