Amazon did surprise us, and shortly after the first leaks, presented us new tablets. According to earlier assumptions, the devices do not impress with possibilities, but they are offered at affordable prices.
The new tablets from the Fire HD series are equipped with 1.5 GHz quad-core processors and screens with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. They differ in - of course – diagonals: 8 and 10.1 inches. There are also different internal memory capacities: the smaller tablet may have 8 or 16 GB, and greater - 16 or 32 GB. The devices differ probably also with the battery capacity - but here we can only speculate, because the manufacturer instead of the estimated capacity, the maximum work time of devices. In both cases it amounts to 8 hours. A common feature of tablets is: a microSD card slot, stereo speakers and cameras: a 5-megapixel at the back and HD (or perhaps 1.2 megapixels) at the front. Prices will amount to 150 and 230 dollars.

For less demanding users, Amazon has a 7-inch Fire tablet. It comes with a screen a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. The tablet also has 8 GB of memory, a microSD card slot and a 2 megapixel camera. Its price is only $ 50. A similar device, but in a specially reinforced casing, is called the Kindle Fire Kids. This model has been designed to meet the needs of children. It is tougher, and it has a packet Amazon FreeTime Unlimited with children's games and books. In addition, this version includes special warranty conditions: the deviced damaged mechanically are to be exchanged - eg. with a broken screen. For such a bonus users will pay $ 100. All new models are controlled by a system based on Android OS 5.0 Fire Bellini.
